Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Keyframe

What an amazing experience this was in SHANG-CHI!!! It was almost exactly 2 years ago when I first created this keyframe illustration during preproduction on Shang-Chi. After designing the hero look for him I had to figure out how to help sell the climax of the movie in this one illustration. So the fun was in figuring out how to paint our hero with the rings circling him, with the insane battle happening above in the sky, all while suggesting the fighting & destruction happening below. Love these challenges!!!
